Vera’s anniversary is coming up on August 13th- and we would like to celebrate the people that have supported us and the product throughout the years.
What started as a need to find a solution for Michael’s long term care has developed into a simply functional cleaning formula without the gimmicks to help everyday people know how to prioritise their own hygiene whether at home, work, school, or travel. Vera isn’t about what we clean with, but about making everyday cleaning more efficient, intentional, and perhaps even joyful.
🧽 How It All Began
Vera Clean began with Mariana’s determination to care for her husband, Michael, who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1996. Mariana tried many prescribed cleaning products but urinary tract infections kept coming back which often resulted in ambulances and hospital visits.
Mariana began to develop her own cleaning concentrate that addresses the source of dirt, germs, and odours at the source- a formula that is gentle but powerful, and without the harsh chemicals, fragrances, or alcohols that are found in many cleaners.
Using inspiration from her grandmother Vera’s formula from the Second World War, and working with many experts over the years, Vera is simple, functional cleaning at its best.
Today, Vera products are trusted by homes and businesses around Australia.
