Streamline the way you clean with Vera’s all-in-one cleaning system, which utilises the British Institute of Cleaning Science Colour Coding System for safety and efficiency.

The Vera Clean Kit is designed for cleaning efficiency by preventing cross-contamination, cross-reactions, and adverse side effects. Bringing an easily understandable colour coded cleaning system to the household, the kit includes four ergonomic spray bottles and three large, colour matched microfibre cloths to make cleaning fast and stress-free.

Designed for comfort and easy refilling, Vera’s spray bottles also feature handy refill gauges on the side of the label, and an ergonomic design to minimise hand strain and minimise RSI (repetitive strain injury). Lab-tested against pathogens and germs, the Vera Clean Kit is the only cleaning system you need for a cleaner, healthier environment.

Vera Cleaning Kit General Usage

  • Use included microfibre cleaning cloths, soft nylon pads, or brushes.
  • Spray directly onto the surface and leave for 5-30 seconds.
  • Wipe or scrub as needed, then rinse or polish dry.
  • Gloves are recommended to safeguard against prevalent surface contaminants.

It is important to note that in some instances for first-time use, a couple of applications may be needed in order to break down the cumulative biofilm present from the past. Where available, a swab test from an Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) Hygiene-Sanitation monitoring device would take less than a couple of minutes to indicate when this has taken place. With the biofilm removed, the supply of food to bacteria is cut-off, enabling Vera to provide surface protection.

For best results on all stubborn or old stains, or deep soiled areas, or to decontaminate (e.g. sticking chewing gum, pet accidents), use the Decontamination (yellow spray).

Always disconnect electrical devices before spraying with any liquid or cleaner and allow to thoroughly dry before switching back on.

Always spot-test on a small, inconspicuous area first.

General Surface (blue)

Vera is solvent-free, and the general purpose spray is ideal for cleaning glass and plastic surfaces to effortlessly remove grease, traffic film, and bug splats on vehicle windscreens. Because Vera does not emulsify oils and works to remove the surface biofilm and contaminants, windows and mirrors can be brilliantly clean, free from smears and fingerprints.

Ideal for use in homes, offices, and workplaces on benchtops, tables, windows, mirrors, computer keyboards, personal devices, and more.

First usage: Spray liberally, let soak for 1-3 minutes to lift all debris and remove stubborn biofilms.

Hard Surfaces and Mirrors: Spray and allow 3-10 seconds before wiping with a clean blue microfiber cloth.

  • Kitchen appliances, microwaves, chrome fittings, laminate surfaces, sinks, benches, cupboards, cookware, and fridge shelves.
  • Glassware, coffee cups, tea stains, cutting boards, and food prep areas.
  • Food and beverage transportation (dairy, fruit, meat, vegetables).
  • Food processing equipment (e.g., bakeries, packaging areas).

First Usage: Spray liberally, let soak for 3-10 minutes to lift debris and remove stubborn biofilms.

Benchtops: Spray and allow 15 seconds before wiping with a clean green microfibre cloth. For burnt stains, allow up to 10 minutes. On general surfaces use the General Surface (blue) or Decontaminate (yellow) for ovens. Leave on longer for older stains

Food Washing: Spray for 5-10 seconds on your fruit or leafy greens and wash with clean water (you may be surprised what comes off, even from those that are already washed and ready to eat).

For general surfaces, use the Vera General Surface spray (blue). For ovens, use the Vera Decontamination spray (yellow).

Immediate benefits in using Vera for food and beverage preparation areas are non-toxic, odourless, tasteless, and taint free surfaces as well as ongoing surface protection. Rinse foods with clean running water before eating.

Decontamination (yellow)

This odorless, colorless, and non-toxic decontamination spray comes in a 500ml refillable bottle with an ergonomically designed trigger for easy use. It is suitable for a variety of applications, including couch stains, chewing gum removal, carpet stains, shoe stains, clothing stains, bodily fluid accidents (use paper towels), back of head oily pillow marks, pet bedding, and clothes washing.

Soft Surfaces and Fabrics: Spray and scrub to remove debris and soiling Use Vera Decontaminate (yellow spray) to decontaminate or with stubborn old stains, e.g. stuck chewing gum, pet accidents.

Clothes Washing: 5ml of concentrate per kg in washing machine.

Cleaning Stains: Vera is ideal for curtains, upholstery and carpets in removing deep stains and odours without bleaching or fading the colours.

For tough stains, start with the Decontamination Spray (yellow). The first application helps lift deep-seated dirt and residue from previous fabric treatments, such as food preservatives and fabric brighteners that cause stubborn brown stains. For best results:

  1. Apply and let sit for 15 minutes, then rinse with clean water.
  2. Repeat with a second application, wait 15 minutes, and rinse again to complete the cleaning and sanitisation process.

For ongoing maintenance, a single application of the General Surface Spray (blue) is typically enough, depending on surface exposure to dirt and traffic.

The immediate benefits of cleaning curtains, upholstery and carpets with Vera are:

  • No perfumes to cover up – free to apply own choice of fragrance.
  • Non-toxic and taint free surface cleaning.
  • Safe and non-irritating to children and pets
  • Removes dust and carpet mites that can cause skin and/or breathing irritation, especially to asthma sufferers and people with breathing issues.
  • Enhances fabric condition and protection against future staining.

3 x Microfibre Cloths

The Vera Clean Kit (excluding the Decontamination Spray) includes three color-coded microfibre cloths for maximum cleaning efficiency. These high-quality cloths trap dirt, absorb moisture, and prevent streaks, utilising an internationally recognised color-coded system to ensure the right cloth is used for each cleaning task to prevent cross-contamination.

How to Use:

  1. Spray directly onto the surface.
  2. Wipe with the matching microfiber cloth to lift dirt and grime.
  3. Rinse or scrub as needed. Wipe down with paper towels or use a squeegee for a streak-free finish.
  4. Wash cloths after cleaning and line dry.
  5. For decontamination cleaning, we recommend using paper towels.

How to Use

Contaminated sites: Remove all soiling and debris, and rinse area with water.

Contaminated sites: Remove all soiling and debris, and rinse area with water. Spray liberally and allow to soak for 3-5 minutes (longer for deeper, stubborn stains) before scrubbing with brush if required. Use strong paper towels or other disposable materials/cloths to do a thorough clean, discarding responsibly. A microfibre cloth is not recommended for decontamination cleaning. Wipe surface dry afterwards. Use 1:1 ratio water and Vera Concentrate for highly contaminated areas.

Oven cleaning: Spray initially and leave overnight for the first deep, complete clean (no toxic fumes will be generated); wipe and rinse with clean water if required.

Stubborn or old stains, or deep soiled areas: Spray and leave for 5 to 10 minutes on the affected area before wiping clean; repeat the same action if stain persists. Chewing gum removal requires leaving Vera Decontamination on longer and the same applies with sticky tape residues, Post-it Notes and other such items. Rinse with clean water where required.

Maintenance: Continue with the relevant Vera product (General Surface, Bathroom or Kitchen/ Food Prep), keeping in mind that stubborn stains need longer time for the paramagnetic solution to penetrate and break down the biofilm that has accumulated over time to lift the dirt.

Highly contaminated surfaces require using a higher concentration of Vera Decontamination (refer to bottle for instructions).

  • Wearing gloves and/or washing hands after any cleaning operation is advisable.
  • Always disconnect electrical devices before spraying with any liquid or cleaner and allow to thoroughly dry before switching back on.
  • Always spot-test on a small, inconspicuous area first.
