How to use Vera Concentrate

Water first
In a Clean Kit bottle, fill with clean water to the line on the label.

Then concentrate
Top up with concentrate to the line on the neck. Pour slowly so it doesn’t foam up.

Other bottles
Pocket and handy sanitisers have one line on the label. In your own bottle, use 10% concentrate for everyday cleaning.

What can I refill with it?
The four Clean Kit spray bottles and the 50mL pocket and 125mL handy sanitisers. The 400mL foam pump uses its own ready-mixed Foam Refill instead.
How many refills will I get from 2.5L?
About 25 Clean Kit bottle refills. Or, for the sanitisers, about 312 refills of the 50mL pocket spray or 100 of the 125mL handy spray.
How do I mix it in my own bottle or bucket?
Mix it with clean water. Use 10% concentrate for everyday cleaning, 15% for kitchens and 25% for bathrooms. For mirrors and glass, 3% is enough. In the washing machine, add 5mL per kg of clothes.
What surfaces can I use Vera on?
Most of them, including:
- Benches, tiles, glass and mirrors
- Floors, carpet and upholstery
- Stainless steel, ovens, appliances, pots and pans
- Plastic, vinyl and unlacquered timber
- Fabrics
Don’t use it on lacquered timber. If you’re not sure about a surface, try a small hidden spot first.

Whenever I needed new cleaning products, I would just buy whatever was on special at the supermarket. Using Vera has made me rethink how I clean, and even look forward to it too because I know it works! Vera is really effective at removing dirt with a light scrub or wipe. I’ve found I don’t need to use as much scrubbing or cleaning product after a few applications, especially areas like sinks which can have a lot of buildup of grime. I like to use Vera to mop the the floors because it doesn’t leave a sticky residue. Previously, I used another plant based floor cleaner and if I didn’t go over it enough times with water, it would be really unpleasant to walk on. I don’t get this with Vera!
I really appreciate that Vera is multi-purpose, and I often use it to wash clothes as well, with the added benefit of cleaning the machine at the same time! I have sensitive skin and nose so it helps a lot. I can also keep Vera in my car whenever I need to clean my hands or surfaces. It’s so convenient and able to be used for so many different situations. I’ve also brought it with me when travelling and it has come in really handy even when I thought I wouldn’t need it. I think Vera is great value and because it is so long-lasting I think it is really worth the initial cost because I can adjust the concentration to my own needs.
