Mariana and her husband, Michael, were overjoyed to discover they were expecting a baby, but just weeks before the birth of their daughter Alina in 1996, Michael was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The journey ahead was arduous and painful for the young family as Mariana looked for ways to keep her husband well so Alina could grow up with a father.
By 2006 Michael was wheelchair-bound, and in 2013 he was catheterised and in and out of hospitals with urinary tract infections.
Mariana’s grandmother, Veronica, had kept the family and her village free from infection by using natural plant-based cures during the difficult years during and after the Second World War. Mariana began research and development for her husband, experimenting with natural, safe, plant based ingredients and collaborating with many doctors and experts over many years.
Veronica’s formula was upgraded by combining the latest scientific technology with top herbalist expertise, leading to in-house trialling of the cleaning solution in 2013. The application of the initial formulation made a noticeable difference within a few weeks, and family and friends began to notice Michael was at home more often instead of heading to the hospital in an ambulance.
By August 2018, after many laboratory tests, feedback, and testimonials from numerous trials in a variety of applications, the Vera team was convinced their product was not only a unique and cost-effective approach to cleaning and maintaining healthy hygiene, it was commercially viable as a product of international standard.
Much of the world were using aggressive chemicals and alcohol to combat infections, leading to the rise and spread of various superbugs.
Following its success and increase in demand, full-scale production of Vera Complete Liquid Science (VERA CLS) products were developed with an Australian laboratory and team of experts to make healthy hygiene available to everyone who want to prioritise quality clean and care for themselves, their families, friends, pets, and the world we live in.
